Celebrating Birth

Traditional baptism may not suit you as parents, yet you would like to honour the birth of your baby.

At Brighton Unitarian Church , we focus on helping you create a unique naming ceremony so that you can share this special time withfamily and friends.

A Naming ceremony, sometimes called a Baptism or Christening in the Christian tradition, welcomes a baby or child into the world and its community. The Chapel service focuses on the commitment of family and friends, as well as the parents, to offer the child love and support. Our Minister can help you create a special family ceremony.

Family Events

There are many life events within a family that you may wish to mark with a ceremony.

This may be a service to mark adoption, a celebration of the blending of families, or a coming-of-age.

We are happy to discuss marking these moments in your family's lives that are important to you
